Pleasant Valley Conservancy is a natural area rather than a public park. It is open for limited hiking and wildlife watching only. See directions on how to get to PVC.
The trails shown on the map below permit excellent views of the whole conservancy. The trails use in part mowed trails and the rest use the ridge-top service road and fire breaks.
The Wetland Trail shown on the map is situated between three wet mesic prairies and cattail and sedge marsh. It provides an excellent opportunity to see birds and butterflies. This trail connects with a Boardwalk that makes it possible to walk patway into the cattails and sedge meadows and reach the creek. In drier times of the year a mowed trail continues along the creek.
Please stay on the marked trails! Do not remove plants or seeds. No motors allowed. No dogs!
